Eva Seng Memorial

Good Works Scholarship

Eva Seng passed away in March of 2008 and will be forever remembered as an individual dedicated to the betterment of her community, especially its youth. Eva knew that greatness existed in young people beyond what was seen on their report cards or in the media. For Eva, the greatness was obtained through the selfless service of others, and it was something that could be obtained by anyone. In 2006, Eva founded what would become the Eva Seng Memorial Good Works Scholarship as a way to encourage both civic engagement and social responsibility in local youth. Seng’s Marina has a continued tradition of community service throughout Manistee County and would like to reward students who share this virtue. To learn more about the eligibility requirements Eva Seng Memorial Good Works Scholarship or to apply please click here to visit the Manistee County Community Foundation website.
